Where do the speedboat experiences depart from?
All experiences depart from our operating location in Hout Bay Harbour. Your confirmation will include the meeting point, directions and arrival instructions.
Are the experiences private?
Most packages include private use of the speedboat. The Hout Bay Speedboat Blast and Llandudno Coastal Adventure also have selected shared departure options.
How many passengers can join?
Passenger capacity is limited to the number approved on the vessel's Certificate of Fitness. The current capacity will be shown during booking.
Which route will we follow?
Routes may travel toward Llandudno, Chapman's Peak or Noordhoek. The final route is selected according to weather, sea conditions, package duration and the skipper's safety assessment.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
The experience may be postponed, rescheduled or adjusted when the skipper determines that conditions are unsuitable. The booking team will contact affected guests with the available options.
What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothing, sun protection, a secure hat, a warm layer and a phone or camera. Guests should expect possible sea spray.
Will we get wet?
Sea spray is possible, particularly during faster sections or when conditions are choppy. Guests should dress appropriately and protect valuable items.
Can children participate?
Children may participate subject to their age, size, the selected experience, sea conditions and the skipper's safety assessment.
Can we bring alcohol?
Alcohol is not automatically included or permitted. Any special request must be approved in advance and remains subject to the operator's safety rules.
