NB! We supply all safety equipment and life jackets as well as waterproof phone bags so you can take pics along the way. All you need to bring is your swimming costume and a towel. Unfortunately there's no showers on site.
The Jetski Cape Town Rules & Regulations
Participant Eligibility
Age Requirements
Minimum age to drive (with skipper supervision): 16 years.
Minimum passenger age: 10 years (accompanied by parent/guardian).
Height & Weight
Riders must be tall enough to sit and reach the handlebars comfortably with both feet secured on the footrests (generally ~1.4m / 4 ft 7 in).
Maximum recommended weight per jetski: 220 kg (combined rider & passenger).
Health & Fitness
Participants must be in good physical health. Not permitted if pregnant, suffering from back/neck injuries, epilepsy, heart conditions, or other medical issues that could be aggravated by the activity. Guests must be able to swim unaided.
Sobriety
Strictly no alcohol or drugs prior to or during the experience.
Operating Conditions
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or shorten trips if conditions are unsafe.
Jetskis will not operate in:
Wind speeds exceeding 25 knots (≈ 46 km/h).
Wave swells exceeding 2.0 m.
Poor visibility (fog, heavy rain, or dusk/night conditions).
Lightning, storms, or other severe weather alerts.
Jetskis will only operate when:
Weather and sea conditions are safe and within guidelines.
The supervising skipper confirms conditions are suitable for the group's skill level.
Safety Equipment & Obligations
Lifejackets
All riders and passengers must wear lifejackets (PFDs) provided by Jetski Cape Town and Wanderer Tours & Travel.
Helmets
Helmets are provided and recommended, particularly for minors or beginners.
Killswitch
Safety lanyard/kill switch must be attached to the operator at all times.
Compliance
Guests must follow all instructions from the skipper/guide without exception.

Rules

Etiquette
Ride responsibly and respect marine life and other water users.
Restraint
Do not attempt tricks, reckless maneuvers, or exceed designated riding zones.

We only use Yamaha Jet ski's, known for reliability, ease of use and safety.
Your Jet ski cabin is packed with everything you could possibly need. Anchor, first aid kit, ropes, flares, thermal blankets.
Before any jet ski goes out its checked from bottom to top by one of our certified skippers.
Our Cape Town fleet of Jet ski's allows us to accommodate any type of rider as we are able to offer you 700cc, 1100cc and even 1800cc experiences.
To help you capture this experience we have waterproof phone bags and action cameras onboard.
